Hello, fellow E110-mates! I go by Delphine, and I’m currently an Engineering Undeclared major here at UD! I’ve always been interested in figuring out how things work and taking stuff apart and putting it back together again, so I figured engineering would be a good choice for me. I’ve lived in northern Virginia, just outside of DC, for the past 11.5 years. My family is originally from Michigan, and we moved to DC just before I started 2nd grade. I’m very passionate about technology and cars and have been for most of my life. I also love to spend time outside, and I was on the rock-climbing team at my high school for 3 years. I typically listen to 70s and 80s music, but occasionally there’s a new song that comes out that I can get into. My top three artists are Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, and The Eagles. This is pretty much the basic information you should know about me, and I’m looking forward to getting to know some of you!
a lil about me
My name is Hadley Rhue. I am from Lewes, Delaware. I love the beach, hanging with my friends and staying active. The beach is my happy place and you can almost always catch me there. I am super easy-going and love to make friends. In highschool, I ran cross country, track, and was on the swimteam. I love to run and stay fit. I came to UD with 86 of the students that I graduated with so it has been super easy adjusting to my new life here with some of my friends. I am an undeclared major because I am super indecisive and really have no idea what I want to pursue. I am super excited to be at UD and hope to soon discover what I want to do for my future. 🙂
About me
My name is Madison Migliore and I’m a psychology major! I’m very interested in social interactions as a whole but also how the mind works. I also love music and making music and I have been thinking about going on the Musical therapist career pathway. I believe Psychology and English are closely related, along with history. I hope I am able to improve my understanding about many things in this class and also become a better writer.
What’s Up?
Hello, my name is Elijah Dockery. I am a Junior here at UD, with a major in Sports Management. I am from Wilmington, Delaware. My passion in life is sports. I am a die hard Eagles and 76ers fan.
I view myself as a fun, smart, and outgoing person. I can be a selectively quiet person, usually when I am around people that I don’t know. My very competitive athletic background has groomed me into being a gym rat. Working out has become a huge part of my life.
My future is always in the forefront of my mind. A career in the sports industry would be a dream come true. I am constantly working hard to put myself in the best position to make my dreams a reality. With faith, hard work, and making connections, I believe that I can achieve my dream.
About Myself
Hello, My name is Caeden Hodny. I was born and raised here in Newark, Delaware and have been part of the Blue Hen family for my whole life. My mom and dad both used to teach as adjunct professors, so coming to UD wasn’t a hard decision for me. I am an entrepreneurship major and would like to minor in finance my sophmore year. My hopes are to start a company that can impact the world in a positive way, but I am unsure of what company that will be yet.
Just a Little Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Sanjhna Medisetti, but I go by Sanji. I’m a neuroscience major and I’m originally from upper Delaware so I already know the area (and an uncomfortable amount of people) already. I have a little brother whom I adore and unfortunately no pets (I do want a dog and turtle).
I hope to join the Intramural Volleyball club, which is a bit of a change from a Bollywood Dance Team that I did all throughout high school. After college I plan to go to get a PhD/Masters in either Psychology or Neuroscience, but I’m not sure what specifically. I really like babies and being a homebody. I hope I have fun here!
About Me
Hello, my name is Brittany Zeigler and I’m from Smyrna, Delaware. I’m a mathematics major with a minor in engineering. I enjoy watching holiday movies all the time. I’m really excited for the upcoming holidays because I will have a valid excuse to binge watch loads of movies with my family and friends. If anyone ever has a holiday movie recommendation, I’m all ears!
A Little Bit About Me
Hey, everyone! My name is Laurel Hannigan, and I am a Communication Interest Major from Swedesboro, New Jersey. I love going to the beach, listening to artists like The 1975 and Harry Styles, and taking spontaneous trips to Wawa, every South Jersey resident’s favorite place.
In the future, I hope to be an editor for a magazine or online news source. As strange as it sounds, I love grammar and spelling, as well as making the ideas people are attempting to communicate clearer. I thoroughly enjoy critiquing other people’s work and helping in making it the best that it can be.
I look forward to getting to know you all more!
The one with the intro
Hey guys! My name is Jenna Vallario and I’m a music education major with a vocal concentration. I’ve been passionate about music my whole life and hope to be a music teacher in an elementary school near me. I’m from Westwood, New Jersey, which is not far from Manhattan, but is very close to towns in “upstate, but not exactly upstate” New York. Some examples include, but are not limited to: Pearl River, Nanuet, Nyack, etc…
Aside from my passion for music, I love dogs (I have two very small, hypoallergenic ones named Chloe and Willow), skiing, and netflix. I enjoy going “down the shore,” to NYC, Lake George, NY, and concerts. I have a younger brother named Christofer and a very big, Italian extended family back home. I can’t wait to see where studying at UD takes me!
About Me!
Hi everyone! My name is Katelyn Marcovecchio and I am from just outside Pittsburgh, PA. I came to UD not knowing anyone because it’s so far away (about 5 hours), but thankfully everyone here has been extremely welcoming. I am a freshman majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in German. My out of class interests include singing and painting. I love to listen to alternative rock or indie music. Some of my favorite musicians include Coldplay, Vance Joy, and the Collection. I’m also a huge theater nerd, so I’ll listen to a musical album on repeat every now and then. As for this class, I’m looking forward to actually learning how to write a good research paper considering I’ll have quite a few to write throughout college.
