I’m thinking about doing internalized racism among black people (colorism) but I don’t know if there is sources pertaining to this topic. Maybe active racism in general or mental health among black people. My mind is kind of everywhere sooooo

Oh there’s some really good studies on this you can start from. Colorism is one key term there, but try looking into standards of beauty and people of color (the term colorism is fairly recent, in terms of research). Colorism also affects other POC groups, so while you can totally talk about it among African Americans, the research also might talk about other groups and still be relevant.
