Hey, I am Ryan Junikiewicz and I am from Valley Forge, PA. I graduated from Conestoga High School with a class size of about 500. I only moved houses once and it was down the street so I could be in a different school district. I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing spike ball. I like to listen to rap music and my favorite artist is Mac Miller. RIP. I am hoping to learn how to write better by taking this class.

Hey everyone! My name is Kyle Iorio, and I’m from Westchester, NY. I am the first of my family to go to UD. I am currently undecided, but I’m leaning towards a major in journalism or marketing. My favorite hobbies include listening to music and watching soccer. My preferred genre of music would be rap, although I also listen to a decent amount of classic rock. I’m a Chelsea FC supporter, but being from New York, I also follow the Yankees and Rangers. I’m really excited for the next four years of my life. #RollHens

Hello my name is Lauren Aldrich and I am a Freshman who is currently undecided. I am planning to major in Fashion Merchandising and minor in Journalism starting this Spring. I love to travel and plan on studying abroad next Winter. In May I am going to London and Ireland and could not be more excited! Also a big part of my life is the music I listen to. I love almost everything from Classic Rock, to R& B, to Alternative music. Just this past year, I saw Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Mac DeMarco, and the Rolling Stones in concert. One day I hope to see the Eagles in concert while they’re still alive. Other than traveling and music I enjoy fashion and style diversity and would love to learn more about fashion trends of other countries.

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Maria, but most people call me Steph. I’m from East Windsor New Jersey and I am planning on double majoring in English and Environmental Humanities. My hobbies include reading and writing, and it’s my dream to be an author one day. I love all animals (thats why I’m a vegetarian) but cats have a special place in my heart. I don’t really have a favorite genre of music, but currently I’ve been listening to The Japanese House a lot. I hope I get the chance to study abroad in Italy, because my entire family is from there and I want to get better at speaking Italian. My experience here has been great so far, and I can’t wait to see what else UD has to offer!

Hi everyone! My name is Josephine St. Claire, I’m a freshman from Fairfax, VA (about 20 minutes outside of DC) and I love UD! I’m majoring in Communications and I’m thinking about declaring Italian as my minor. I plan on becoming a sports PR agent for Edelman Public Relations and work alongside my dad. My family is very important to me. My mother is a middle school special ed teacher (she’s a saint), my father is a VP for Edelman PR, my big sister Amanda is 20 and attending East Carolina University, and my little brother Grant is a sophomore at Robinson High School where I graduated from. I’m so excited for the rest of the semester in this class and experiencing the rest of UD.

Hi everyone! My name is Sabrina Siles and I am from Westchester, NY (about an hour from NYC). I’m majoring in Psychology with the end goal of becoming a psychologist. At first I thought I wanted to be a child psychologist, but as much as I love children, I don’t think I could work with them all day long. I have two little brothers, Noah (6 years old) and Coby (4 years old). It’s definitely hard having an age gap of 12 and 14 years but I love them more than anything and wouldn’t have it any other way. I spend most of my time hanging out with friends and family. My mom is from Italy and her whole side of the family lives in the Giulia-Friuli Venezia region. I travel there every summer to spend time with my family and hang out with my friends as well (my best friend lives there). Speaking Italian has been really helpful for learning French, which was the language I took in Middle and High School. I’m so excited to be at UD and I hope you all have a great year!

Hi! My name is Hally La Fronz and I’m from New York City. I have a twin brother but he repeated a year of high school so it actually feels like I’m older than him. English has always been my favorite subject; I’m not a math or science person. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with friends, exploring the city, and going on adventures as often as I can. I love animals and have a dog of my own named Bailey. I’m excited for this year and to get to know everyone!

Hi everyone my name is Mia Diaz and I am a freshman at UD. I’m from Bridgewater, New Jersey and my major is Early childhood education. I would love to study abroad at some point during my college career. I am eighteen years old and I went to a high school with a graduating class of 780. I played soccer all throughout high school and I hope to join the club team here at UD. I love dogs, especially german shepherds. I have a 8 month old german shepherd at home who I miss more than my brothers.

My name is Thomas Z. Blackiston I am nineteen years old. I live in Millsboro, DE I went Indian River High School. I have bought four cars. I have a pet bearded dragon that I had for about four years. I like playing videogames such as cod, or destiny. My favorite genre of music is metalcore and the band in that genre that I perfer the most is In Flames.

Hey everyone, my name is Cole Cantagallo and I grew up here in Newark Delaware. For those of you who know the area, I attended Saint Marks for high school, and I am definitely not the only person from my class that came to UD. So a little bit about me is that I enjoy music and sports. To be more specific on those topics, I like rap and r&b, and my favorite sport to both play and watch has to be basketball. During the summer, I live down the beach in Ocean City, Maryland with my family.

I am a freshman at the University of Delaware and I am majoring in Communication Interest. I was initially hoping to be a business major, but unfortunately math is not my strong suite. I do intend on going into sales or owning a business, but that’s a story for anther day. As a whole, I am super excited for these next four years, and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. Have a good evening everyone.
